I sent them an inquiry to ask if they accept pets, since I see comments from the owner stating they do not accept pets though when I search pets allowed hotels this hotel comes up. I wanted to clarify if there are any rooms that are pet friendly, but never received a reply.

Stayed one night in a chalet (No4, the last in the row) and had an evening meal in the pub. The food was absolutely delicious and the chalet was spacious, warm and comfortable. Such a super friendly place to visit, with great service and a roaring log fire. What's not to like? Highly recommend!

Fabulous pub. The service was excellent and there's a great selection of beers and a very nice menu. Everyone was very happy with their meal choices. Dog friendly.

A gem! As previous reviews confirm doesn’t look like much from outside. A whole different picture inside, warm, welcoming, friendly, professional,cosy with lovely features, roaring fireplace. The BEST Sunday roast, perfect! The room was clean, comfortable and the really good night’s sleep as bed is super comfortable. Lovely hot shower. We were delighted with the amount of tea, coffee, and milk AND they offered oat milk as my husband can’t drink cows milk. Such a lovely touch. We would highly recommend this pub / Inn really enjoyed our stay. You get a breakfast including in the price which is super and great value for money. Wow the breakfast was incredible!

An old pub with character but not best suited to provide accommodation. Our room (5) was on the second floor up a cold creaky staircase. The room and bathroom were fine but it was cold due to the inefficient radiators. When queried, a plug in unit was provided which solved the problem temporarily. The staff were great as was the quality of the food.

Cracking place. Walked from Westonbirt - just a 15 minute detour via public footpaths - for lunch with our children as was tired of the repeated poor service and food quality in the grounds. Great service, atmosphere, a passionate chef, and catered for gluten free needs (being coeliac is not a choice…). Will be back to try the Sunday Roast. Don’t be a turkey and stay in Westonbirt - take a detour from the maddening weekenders couped up in there!

A really good find. Never judge a book!? What a surprise. Rustic charm coupled with superb food and Faultless service. Rooms are equally lovely and the bedding is super comfy. Had a wonderful night sleep.

Very poor sunday lunch. Watery gravy, luke warm food, dry roast potatos and overall not very tasty. Long wait for food aswell. Disappointed.

Amazing place, food was delicious, service and atmosphere great , fabulous playlist! Take a moment to have a walk out the back, this is an unassuming place from the front with a totally different vibe out the back. Can’t wait to go back again.

We had a lovely meal and a few drinks at the holford arms good food and drinks roaring fires and friendly locals , only given a 4 star review as there was a party going on in the barn and the staff were a little over stretched for a couple of hours so we did have to wait for a while at the bar , we were also slightly surprised to find that our campervan was hemed in by cars from the party when we went back to our camper

The most welcoming place I've ever been to. Not to mention the wagyu burger which is easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Can't give this place enough stars and I only stayed a night passing through in a camper.

Lovely country pub. The room was clean and comfortable with a good quality shower. The staff were really nice and the food was delicious. Perfect for a visit to the nearby National Arboretum.

Stayed in a lovely spacious chalet at the end of August 2024. Looks like an awesome place to camp too. Nice fire pit and outside bar area. The breakfast was very tasty and they made it gluten free for me. Also had a delicious evening meal (they grow some ingredients on site) the night before. The locals and staff were lovely and very entertaining.

Même si le prix du camping défie toute concurrence, les espaces communs et le service laissent à désirer. Les sanitaires sont trop peu nombreux pour le nombre de campeurs en plus d’être mal tenus. Lors de mon séjour, je n’avais que de l’eau froide dans la douche, une des cabines (sur 3) était hors service et, alors que plusieurs dizaines de campeurs étaient sur le site, tous les toilettes étaient bouchés. De plus, les campeurs n’ont pas accès au petit déjeuner complet malgré un prix beaucoup trop élevé de £10. Les seuls point positifs sont les emplacements de tente et la cuisine du pub, excellente, qui mérite 5 étoiles.

We booked a chalet here purely by chance and very last minute. It was a lovely place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and the chalet was clean, comfortable and decorated to a good standard. The owner has made great use of the space and there is also a campsite. We ate in the pub in the evening and the food was really nice. A special mention has to go to the landlady though. She made us feel very welcome, even when maybe we had a glass too much. I just hope the locals can forgive us for dragging them into the conversation!

Nous avons dormi et mangé ici il y a quelques jours et nous recommandons totalement. La nourriture est copieuse et très bonne en plus d'être majoritairement locale (viande). Le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix était également bon. Enfin, la chambre était propre et la literie agréable.

Booked a table for three to meet a friend and catch up/ enjoy a nice meal with my girlfriend. Was welcomed into a pleasant friendly environent . The starter a very interesting choice, done well. Louisiana pickled prawn in a wonderful slightly spicy dip with garlic butter, charred sour dough bread . Beautifully light and packed with flavour . A sure sign of what was to come. Korean pork in light as you like Bao buns filled with Asian kimchi salad presented in a traditional woven steamer. Something i had never tried before and was not disappointed. Wow , i was blown away .My partner and visiting friend , also had similar taste experiences. And to finish off with puddings , Panna cotta with a wild berry compote , spot on ! Staff were polite, attentive, good selection of drinks . It worked out at roughly £33 pound a head for three people , drink ,starters,mains puddings Even got a nod from the chef , as i as complimented them on a lovely evening . Respect. Great value , considering the standard and quality of food presented . Outstanding . Would highly recommend.

We stayed in the camp site. Well laid out with quiet areas. Loos and showers were bit of a let down, not very clean, loo seat broken, great idea but in need of maintenance. There are busy roads on two sides so take ear plugs! The pub itself was very nice, oldie worldie, cosy and welcoming.

Just celebrated my wife's 50th birthday here and everything was just perfect. Campsite is amazing in it's own right, the pub is cosy and the food was superb! Top marks to the team!

Found this pub en route to Westonbirt Arboretum. Staff were welcoming and cheerful. Busy pub and can see why when we received our meal. Good size portions, hot and delicious. Will definitely go back if we're passing that way.

Thank you for our wonderful stay at The Holford Arms! Last night we went to see Van Morrison at Westonbirt Arboretum and were absolutely delighted to find this beautiful place to camp the night in our camper van! An incredible venue & location with amazing friendly staff, and delicious local beer! AND THE BIG THANKS! goes to the lovely Ellie :) who volunteered to drive us to the Arboretum, and pick us up late at night when the concert finished, and not just us, several other couples too... thank you again, it really made our stay effortless and easy :) We will definitely be staying here again for the next concert, and may even just pop over for a weekend break soon to sample the food, which looked incredible by the way! Will be recommending you to friends and family for sure! Much Love Miles & Sam xx
